urban gardening collective - Hafengarten Offenbach

The urban planning collective is now part of the urban gardening project "Hafengarten" in the city of Offenbach. In the future, we will grow fruit and vegetables here with our friends on a small area of about 9 m².

Urban gardening has been a trend in cities for several years and strengthens social cohesion among the population. In addition to active gardening, it is also about social exchange with other residents of the city. For us, urban gardening is an important building block for a sustainable neighbourhood of the future. For this reason, we actively support this project and hope that the trend will continue.

Neu-Isenburg 2040

The workshop on mission statement development took place on 21.10.2021 in the Hugenottenhalle in Neu-Isenburg and dealt with the question of how the quality of life of the citizens can be improved by 2040. Representatives of local politics discussed the status quo and the future of Neu-Isenburg during the event. The aim of the kick-off event was to raise awareness of future development and the first step in the process of promulgating the mission statement.
Due to the successful cooperation with the city of Neu-Isenburg in the course of our Master's thesis on the topic of "Sustainable inner development of the medium-sized city of Neu-Isenburg", we were invited to act as junior experts and were given the task of providing new professional impulses during the discussions as consulting experts and motivating the actors to reach a consensus solution.
